How to set a specific list view as the default view for a custom object Tab in Lightning?

Hi,

      Is there any way to change the default list view "Recently Viewed" to "New list view" for a custom object tab in Salesforce lightning?

The default list view is not customizable even in classic.

This does not seems possible. You can not update this functionality on standard page in lightning.
