Step 5 Security Specialist- The Sales Executive User profile does not have the correct permissions for managing List Views, creating and managing reports, or creating and managing report folders.

The Sales Executive User profile does not have the correct permissions for managing List Views, creating and managing reports, or creating and managing report folders.

I am stucking at this point. I tried many times but did not get answer.Can someone help me.

Please check below points for permissions if you have done the same thing.

​Create and Customize Reports - off
Create Report Folders - off
Edit My Reports - off
Export Reports - off
Manage All Private Reports and Dashboards - off
Manage Custom Report Types - off
Manage Reports in Public Folders - off
Report Builder - off
Run Reports - on
Schedule Reports - off
View Reports in Public Folders - off

Old Thread, but just wanted so say that Sandhya has 1 error in the solution:

"​Create and Customize Reports - off"

This needs to be turned ON. ("They should be able to create reports and dashboards...")

Everything else is correct.

Except the three permissions, everything else was unchecked. And it worked.
BTW, this challenge is bonkersaf! SFDC should be ashamed for putting it out there.

Got this error. Step 5 Security Specialist- The Sales Executive User profile does not have the correct permissions for managing List Views, creating and managing reports, or creating and managing report folders.

I was able to make it work with the following settings:

Create and Customize Reports - On
Create and Customize Dashboards - On
Create and Customize List Views - On
Create Report Folders - off
Edit My Reports - off
Edit My Dashboards - On
Export Reports - off
Manage All Private Reports and Dashboards - off
Manage Custom Report Types - off
Manage Reports in Public Folders - off
Report Builder (Lightning Experience) - Off
Run Reports - on
Schedule Reports - off
View Reports in Public Folders - off

The question is that I dont understand why several options must remain unchecked (eg: manage list views). Intuitively, I suppose it shopuld be checked, but it doesnt. Any clue why this is so?
