Open Activities of objects in 'Lookup' relationship

Hi,

 

I was just testing that Tasks created for Contacts are viewable on related Account's detail page. But, if in the same way we have two custom objects A & B (having a Lookup to A) and we create a new Task on B then we it wont show-up on A's open activities.

 

Any suggestions?

That's an out of box feature!

Is the relationship look-up or Master-Detail in your case?

The relationship is Look-up. As per my understanding, Account-Contact relationship is also Look-up (earlier it was Master-detail), correct?

yes, that's correct!!

I don't think this feature works in any lookup field other then Account/Contact.
