Remove "View Hierarchy" Link from Account page layout

Hello all.

 

It looks like SF bug.

In spite Account is the private object, my PRM users can see Accounts of other Users

by simple clicking on "View Hierarchy" link.

 

Someone has an idea how i can remove this link from Account page layout on the quickiest way?

Are you sure you don't have any sharing rule written for account? Or the profile "PRM" have no rights of "View All" and "Modify All" ?

Hello Ankit.

 

They cannot see other Users Account's details due to insufficient privilege,

however they can see accounts names of other Users what is completely unacceptable.

 

I didn't believe that SF by default gives to Users tool that treads Security/Privacy rules???!!!

 

Hope you have an idea how to remove this link.

I don't think we can remove the "View Hierarchy" link easily from native screen. You need to create visualforce page for this.
