Unable to fetch organization details in Eclipse.

Hi Team,

I recently installed the Force.com IDE plug in in Eclipse 3.6(indigo).

When i am trying to create a new project and clik on next it displays an error saying " Unable to fetch organization details for (my usename)".

Can anyone please help me in getting this corrected?

Thanks,

Rony

There might be some following reasons:

1. New Network IP

2. Credentail changes

Please check both if 1 is reason then you may eiather white list your new IP or reset securiity token and use it in eclipse

When you provided the credentials while creating the new project, check if you are connecting to the correct instance of salesforce. e.g append your username with .sandbox name if you are creating a sandbox project .
