Lookup filter does not aupport date functions like TODAY()

Hello! all,

 

I have a date field, that I need to compare before I show the records in the lookup. My criteria is "End Date > Today()"

Currently SF does not allow me to do so, I know this is still in Beta, but this looks pretty staright fwd ..

 

Any other work arounds for meeting my criteria??

Just an update, for now I am using the Before insert trigger, but would really like to know when SF can start supporting Date functions in lookup filter.
