how to change created date?

i am migrating data of seibel to salesforce....after migrating the   record to  salesforce..the date will be  the  new date or old date?  (which the record is created in seibel is old date)...............if it is the new date in salesforce after migrating then how to change it  to  old  date?

You need to log a case with Salesforce support for allowing editing the Audit fields(createddate, createdby ..etc). They can enable that for you for migration purpose.

This is possible but not directly. for this you need to log a case to Salesforce " Create Aduit field" permission

Log a case to salesforce and they will enable it. then you can get the access.

NOTE: Even then you can only change it during first insert, not during update.

You can create custom DateTime field in salesforce which will show the sibel created date.

log  a  case  means  we need to  generate  case to  salesforce  is it ?

Yes you generate a case to salesforce about Enable Audit field feature.
