Summary Report Customer Portal

I have defined a summary Report which, when created, was spawned from a Report Type. When I am logged in as sysadmin, the report runs and presents properly (including being filtered by a defined filter).


However, when I run this same report within a cutomer portal, it executes as if it a a tabular report (not a summary report). Further, the filter does not seem to be in effect.


Any ides? Thanks, in advance.


That'll happen if the user in question doesn't have field level security to the fields used in the summary grouping or filter conditions. Check the Customer Portal Profiles to make sure that they have sufficient access to the fields used in the report (you can keep it as Visible/Read Only to prevent users from modifying the values).
