ministe__2003 Independent Developer Wanting to Create App
Hi all,
I'm not a company or anything like that, just a developer who's written a useful little bit of functionality which I wanted to share on the appexchange. How can I go about it? Can I even do it? Or is it only partner companies who can? I wasn't planning on charging for the application, just wanted to share my work since I think it's something people will find useful.

You can simply post your app to Github if you like, but I'd encourage you to go the AppEx route. Free apps are pretty easy to post.
I've seen that, the information is all based around companies. Is it impossible for a developer to post an app without being a partnered company?
in the partner application form the company name is mandatory...
how can we register as an independant developer then?
This is precisely my question. I'm not a company, I've no intention of setting one up for the sake of publishing a couple of free apps, so it looks like its impossible for me to publish my idea. Shame
