Is Salesforce Rest API call available for group and professional edition

Do anyone knows if the Salesforce Rest API call is available in Group and Professional editional or is it just avaliable for the developer edition alone.

In common with all the Force.com APIs, the REST API is available in Developer, Enterprise and Unlimited Sales Cloud editions only (plus the Force.com editions).
