I had created 4 Record Types i want to display only 2 Record Types to users

I had created 4 Record Types i want to display only 2 Record Types to users and want to hide 2 record types how can i do it using security settings

Go to the respective user profile and click on object settings and select the record Type Availability.

If I am not mistaken you cannot hide records through a record type.

You can do this through sharing rules using the record types that you have already created as criteria.

Go to user Profile and on click of that profile after that go to Record type settingsUser-added image


In that position Object there are 2 record types are there what are the record types you want to visible to the user set it.When you click on edit button disply the page
