in sport object sports1 and sports2 are fields in sports1 i enter some value after save the record same value populated in sports2 field

You can achieve this by workflow rule.

You can acheive this functionality in three ways
  1. before save the record set value from controller
  2. write workflow which update the field as per your requirment it take value from name field.
  3. write trigger on insert which do the same work for you.
