role hierarchy

there are 10 users and above there is a manager with role hierarchy enabled. i dont want the manager to see the records of 10 users.can we achieve this by with out changing the role hierarchy?

Use the Grant Access Using Hierarchies checkbox to disable access to records to users above the record owner in the hierarchy for custom objects.

Hi Madhu,

If you dont want to see the reocrds of 10 users, goto sharing setting choose your object set the private then disable the Grant access using hierarchies.
