Some standard fields cannot be renamed. Even if I edit it, it is not reflecting?

I tried editing standard fields in contact standard object. I edited. but, it is not reflecting. Please help me out to sort this. 

Note : The fields which have yellow background is not reflecting.

When you press save is the change shown?

yes. the change is shown while I was saving. But, not reflected.

After some time, I tried it continuously for 3 to 4 time. It reflected atlast.  No idea how it worked out!!!
