Identity Connect as IdP-initiated SSO

A couple of questions:

1. How can Identity Connect be setup to use IdP-initiated login?
2. Any recommendation on IdP-initiated vs. SP-initiated when using Salesforce Identity Connect as Identity Provider between MSAD and Salesforce?
