I seem to have two dev orgs and I'm not sure how that happened.

Hello everyone! I'm not sure what happened but while doing the Reports and Dashboard module I realized that I have somehow created 2 SF Dev Orgs and they are not connected! There is one org that I can access through traihead and one that I can ramdonly connect through. When I went to download an app from AppExchange it downloaded into the one that is not connected to the Trailhead Playground. I don't know what to do because I can't connect to AppExchange with my Trailhead Playground. I've attached screenshots for a better understanding. I apprecaite ANY help you can give me (FYI I contacted Trailhead and they were no help at all! They suggested that I create a new playground, which doesn't address the iissue of the multiple Orgs that I seem to have). Please help!

In trailhead go to "Settings" then there is a "Connect an org" button that you can use to connect to the org in question. As far as logging into the app exchange, there's an easy work around for it. If you copy the install link you can simply replace the "login.salesforce.com" with the URL for your targeted instance. For example when you're logged into your playground and its url is https://mytrailhead1234.235324-dev-ed.lightning.force.com/one/one.app

Then all you need to do is replace the "login.salesforce.com" portion with mytrailhead1234.235324-dev-ed.lightning.force.com. That will force it to install the package in that org instaed of whichever org it wants.

Another way around it is by resetting your password in the playgorund. Salesforce has instructions here (https://force.desk.com/customer/en/portal/articles/2659738-find-the-username-and-password-for-your-trailhead-playground?b_id=13478) that will walk you through how to setup your password in the playground. Once you have a user name and a password, you can simply use that if you're asked to verify the login.

Hiran,
  • You can connect multiple Salesforce orgs to a single Trialhead account hence, the one that has the Managed Package installed in your case and is not connected, can be connected.
  • Navigate to Settings > Connect an Org button > Enter credentials to connect to the org.
  • Once connected you should be able to see the newly connected org, listed in the My Trailhead Playgrounds dropdown.
Moreover, I recommend, you take the following trailhead module on Trailhead Playground Management (https://trailhead.salesforce.com/modules/trailhead_playground_management) that should help you understand better how to connect and manage multiple orgs in context with your Trailhead account.
