Converting lead to opportunity

Hii,
    could we able convert lead to oppurtunity,if we have no access to oppurtunity objects?Please clarify my doubt.

Hi Varshitha,

You cant convert a lead ,when you dont have a permission on opportunity.
To convert a lead you need these permisions :: Create and Edit on leads, accounts, contacts, and opportunities
AND
Convert Leads
