can we get the contact details in Account page layout?

Hi ,
In Quick Find Box  navigate to Account -> Page Layout ->Edit->
In related list section add contact list.

When you navigate yourself to the detail page of the desired contact  and hover over its parent account then it will open up a 
mini page layoout where you can able to see the information realted to that account.

You can show Account details in the Contact Page Layout, by creating formula filelds in the Contact Object.
