New Note button not working in Lightning Professional edition

Hi,

Make sure that Notes is enabled. From Setup, click Customize | Notes | Settings. Then, make sure Enable Notes is selected.

Hi Raghavendra, 
Is it possible for you to share the solution here? I am having the same issue where the 'New Note' button does not appear in our full copy sandbox when Lightning is enabled. 
However, in Production (Ultimate edition) the button appears but does not work and an generic error message is shown to the end-user.
