Snap In using a lightning component - code from Snap-in Developer guide doesn't work

Has anyone got the code in the Snap-in Developer guide to work.  From what I can tell it is missing some functionality (like validating fields).  I do think I can dynamically update the button but haven't got that far.

Any input??

I got the code to work in a community. The very basic functionality is there, but you'll have to customize it to your liking. You can validate the fields by going through them with a for loop, which is the route that I ended up going. The one thing I haven't found a way to do is to display a pre-existing case to the agent, I know it could be done if it was on an external website, but it seems like there's not a lot of advanced customization for snap-ins in a community.
