New Custom Object - not showing in search

I have created a new custom object that is not showing up when doing a search.  How can I get this object to be part of the global search?

Hi,
According to my understanding you forgot to mark "Allow Search" checkbox in object so go ahead mark this checkbox true and then you will get global search result of this object.

the "Allow Search" is checked but still cannot see in search function:
