control acces to fields profile does not have the appropriate field-level security for the account Rating field.
Hi, i'm trying to finish the challenge i already follow the steps but i got an error sales profile does not have the appropriate field-level security for the account Rating field. do you know how can i fix this ?


Please once again confirm these steps, because i was able to pass doing this, also make sure you have selected right trailhead org.

Use existing profile: Standard User
Profile Name: Sales
Control access for the Sales profile:
Object Permissions: Accounts (Read, Create, Edit)
Object Permissions: Contacts (Read, Create, Edit)
Field Permissions: Rating on the Account object (remove Read Access and Edit Access)
All other permissions from the Standard User profile remain as is
Create a new permission set with the following settings:
Label: Rating
API Name: Rating
User License: Salesforce
Give the Rating permission set access to account Rating field: Read Access, Edit Access
I think you forgot to give Read and Edit Access to your rating field in your permission set, can you confirm it.

Challenge Requirements
Clone the Standard User profile with the following settings:

Challenge not yet complete... here's what's wrong:
The 'Rating' permission set does not have the appropriate field-level security for the Account Rating field.
Like mentioned in the challenge, -
1. Create new profile:
Use existing profile: Standard User
Profile Name: Sales
2. Under 'Sales' profile, click on object settings -> Accounts -> Edit
Object Permissions: Accounts (Read, Create, Edit)
Field Permissions: Prospect Rating (Uncheck Read, Edit)
To cross verify, goto Object Manager -> Account -> Prospect Rating (Fields & Relationships) -> Set Field-Level Security
Make sure Visible/Read Only checkboxes are unchecked for 'Sales' profile.
3. Now, continue with remaining steps specified in the challenge -
Under 'Sales' profile, Object Permissions: Contacts (Read, Create, Edit)
4. Create a new permission set with the following settings:
Label: Rating
API Name: Rating
User License: Salesforce
5. Give the Rating permission set access to account Rating field: Read Access, Edit Access
Rating -> Object Settings -> Accounts -> Check Read/Edit checkboxes for 'Prospect Rating' under Field Permissions.

It's worked fine for me.. it seems some bug in system.. Need to do step#6
1. Create new profile:
Use existing profile: Standard User
Profile Name: Sales

Field Permissions: Rating (Uncheck Read, Edit)

6. Though we did this step#2,, again need to do.
Under 'Sales' profile, click on object settings -> Accounts -> Edit
Object Permissions: Accounts (Read, Create, Edit)
Field Permissions: Rating (Uncheck Read, Edit)

"In the Sales profile, we can't find the correct permissions for the Account object."
It appears the profile is missing the option to alter field permissions at all. There simply is nowhere to make the change. I attempted to created a new playground thinking perhaps there was a bug. Same issue.
Working out of MS Edge (which thus far has wroked great).
