Salesforce- upadate Workflow in Prod

Hello, 
I want to modify my Workflow in my Production environnement.
I deactivate it but I can't modify conditions to execute  Actions de workflow.

Well it is not a best practise to do modification in Production directly but I don't see any reason why you can't make changes in Production, as workflow, validation rules, Assignment Rules etc. can directly be updated in Production.
