I created a workflow for triggering an email when a new lead is created , but i didnt get any email . Please help in understanding the reason why ?

Make sure your emails are set to All Emails  .. Go to setup -- > Communication -- > Delivarabilty -- > Set Email Delivarabilty  to All Emails

Is workflow is Active ? Go to setup --> Create -> Workflows and --> Active it .. 

Make sure your emails are truned on .. Go to setup -- > Communication -- > Delivarabilty -- > Set Email Delivarabilty  to All Emails
