Error - Lead conversion

One of the Sales Reps in my company is getting the error message - "Insufficient access rights on cross-reference id" when rtying to Convert a Lead. He does have the "Convert Leads" checked on his profile settings. Is there something else that is missing?

Appreciate your advise.

Does the user have other permisssion on account and contacts or opporttunity .??? Can you check in the debug logs why its failing ??/

Thanks Raj. I have verified that he has all the necessary permission on the Account, contact and Opportunity object.
With my developer on vacation, I would need assistance on debug logs.
