How to find triggers and processes affecting a specific field

Greetings Salsforce Developers! 
I have been tasked to find the triggers and processes that could possibly be affecting a boolean field that was added as a custom field by our previous SF admin. I'm trying to find the automated processes/apex triggers that are impacting or fired by the fields true/false state. Is there a way to get a list of processes for the field, rather than having to dig through the whole list of apex triggers and processes?

My hack is to try and delete the field, the deletion won't work but will give you all the places the field is used. Do this in a sandbox.

Two ways you can do it 
1. Delete the filed you will get the what all the place its refered 
2. Download the metadata into eclipse and try to search local repo with the field name so you will get all the references ..

I have a field called 'Expected Ship Date' on Opportunity object. There is a workflow to send an email alert every time it changes from no value to a date.

Currently, when some quotes were generated, this workflow was triggered even though there were no changes made to the Exp shipping date. The date field hasnt been touched. I watch this vedeo to an article
