Custom Visual force page limit in communities

I am hitting a limit of 2000 records being loaded in my custom visual force page in our community. We can see that there are well over 2000 records but after we hit the 2000 mark there is no other values loaded as we navigate to the further pages.

Is there any pagination added in VF code,
If not than creating pagination will be ideal solution. 
else paste your code, to check for limit excetion

We do have pagination in the code. Is there something that we need to add or change to fix our limits?
