'confirm email address' in lightning

When a contact's email has bounced a warning icon and link 'Confirm Email Address' is displayed next to their email address on the contact record in SalesForce Clasic, allowing the user to clear the issue - e.g. if the contacts mailbox was full,

i checket out the linkes and dosen ot help me, i do see it in Clasic, but in lightning i do not see the option to Confirm

Did you get anywhere with this David. We have the same issue with our sales team in lightning not seeing this.

Has anyone found an answer to this? Is this possible in lightning without just changing the email and then changing it back?
