Lightning Experience Reports & Dashboards SuperBadge - Challenge 2

I must be overthinking this one as I can not get past the first report check.  Ihave continued you on through challenge 5 in my org but want to get past this first report to see how I am doing on the rest of them.

Accounts Without SolarBot Opportunities
I have built it multiple ways and placed it in the sales reports folder.

1) Created an Account Report with a cross filter on Oppty and then filtering on Oppty type - does not equal Solarbot and get a count of 9.

Error message: The 'Accounts Without SolarBot Opportunities' report doesn't include the correct collection of accounts.

2) Created an Oppty report and just filtered on the oppty type = does not equal Solarbot and got a count of 31.

Error message: We can’t find a report with name “Accounts Without SolarBot Opportunities” in the correct folder, or it uses an incorrect report type.

I thought maybe I read it wrong and I need to actually pull all opptys with Solarbot and have tried that as well.  Based ont eh error messages I am thinking I need an Account report but then I am not sure how to do it without a cross filter to pull Oppty type.

Suggestions?

Hi Heather,

I am also getting the same error as 'We can’t find a report with name “Accounts Without SolarBot Opportunities” in the correct folder, or it uses an incorrect report type'.

I did used the Opportunities Report type, & saved the report into 'SolarBot Sales Reports' folder.

Can you please help me in figuring out the exact issue here.

Thanks in Advance,
Rohit

Hello all,

Error : Challenge Not yet complete... here's what's wrong:
We can’t find a report with name “Accounts Without SolarBot Opportunities” in the correct folder, or it uses an incorrect report type.

To resolve this error, you have to check the below items:

Report Type – Account
Folder : SolarBot Sales Reports

Report Filter criteria are:
All Account
Created Date = All Time

Add Cross Filter
Account without Opportunities
Type = Solarbot

Hooray,
Even if you are facing getting the same error.

"We can’t find a report with name “Accounts Without SolarBot Opportunities” in the correct folder, or it uses an incorrect report type."

Please check if there are multiple reports with “Accounts Without SolarBot Opportunities” are present on ORG. If so, kindly delete all remaining reports with name "“Accounts Without SolarBot Opportunities”.

Thanks,

+1 to @hrushikeshvaze.  If you save the report initially in the Public Folder, then save it where it's supposed to be (in SolarBot Sales Reports), the challenge checker finds the public on first and fails you.  Go to All Reports and look for duplicates.

Thank you Eric, that finally worked for me after being stuck on it for hours!

Sorry to pull out old thread, But i am curious to know why can't we use Opportunity type report and type!='SolarBot'. What I a missing here ?
Kedar GoreKedar Gore
npraveen, if u create the report on opportunity type, the same account will appear multiple times (depending upon count of opps for the account) whereas if u run it on account type, the account appears only once in the report which is what the sales team needs.

I spent more than 2 hours on this issue

The soution is :

1) create a report in solarBot app ,
2)click on create new report
3)select report type = account (warning -> don't select opportunites here)
4)now click on filters
5)show me => all accounts
6)created Date => all time

7) click on the arrow sign which is in rhs of filtes
8) select the cross filter
9)in cross filter
10)accounts => without opportunities
11)type => equals solarBot
12)now click on outline
13)select phone and type
14)remove the all undesired columns
15)click on save as
16)save the report in folder "  SolarBot Sales Reports
17)save

done

Why isn't this working for me?  :(    I am getting back 13 records.  The only thing I didn't do according to Saurabh's steps is create the report in Solarbots App.  I created the report in the Sales app but saved it to the proper folder and I keep getting the dreadful: "Challenge Not yet complete... here's what's wrong:
The 'Accounts Without SolarBot Opportunities' report doesn't include the correct collection of accounts."

I do not see "type = solarbot" I only see "type = customer"

I too experienced the same error, but it has been resolved by updating the Cross filter condition as below.

Sorry to hijack an old thread again, but I am stuck too. I've created the report on the Accounts object and added the filter and cross filter. I've been over it 1000 times and still get the error that it's in the wrong folder or wrong object.

@Sia Thripio 6023, I am getting same results.

@ Stacie B 4, same. I have checked hundreds of time. Deleted and made the report again, saved in correct folder everytime. But I keep getting the same error:

"We can’t find a report with name “Accounts Without SolarBot Opportunities” in the correct folder, or it uses an incorrect report type."

Very frustrating!

If you don't see "Type" under the Cross Filters "Accounts without Opportunities", make sure to go back to Setup and set the SolarBot value as Default.
