gamil backup

Hi does anybody use Gamil backups at all, and can you recommend any software.

I was thinking about maybe doing a local backup. Just to clarify i mean email

There is a tool for Gmail Backup known as Spanning Backup for G Suite.

Hi Dear,

You can use the free Google Takeout utility to export data from your Google Gmail account. Here are the steps of Google Takeout:
  1. Log-in to https://www.google.com/takeout.
  2. Choose all the data that you want to export >> hit Next.
  3. Choose the file extension (.zip, .tgz) in which you want to get the exported file.
  4. Select Delivery method and tap on Create Archive button.
  5. You will get a download link in your Gmail account.
  6. Click on the link and extract the Gmail data.

Note: If you want to export the data of Google Apps Gmail account, you can use Google Apps Backup (https://bit.ly/2SqzCP8) utlity to quickly export all the data.
