dont' want users to log into community

I have searched through the spring 17 documentation, and am not able to determine how to disable the log in feature in communities. How do we disable this feature? we have a requirement to not allow anyone to log into communties-is this possible?

You can deactivate the community:  https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=networks_unpublish.htm&type=0

Or you can remove specific community member profiles from the community: https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=networks_customize_members.htm&type=0

Thanks you. I found the public community configuration. Essentially that is what I need a public community.
