Is it possible to code the answer section of a knowledge article so the attachment will automatically open for the end user?

I am trying to determine if is it possible to code into the the Answer section the ability to have a PDF Attachment automatically open for end user; both staff and customers.  Our legacy system functioned this way and as a Customer Service Support facility and speed of information is the key in supporting our users.

We would continue to provide the individual attachment, for download; in addition to the automatic viewing.

If coding is not an option, what is the purpose of this source button?

Hi Michelle,

The way around could be to create a text area field and paste the article information in the text area and format the same.

We have tossed around this idea, but are unable to use the text field because some of them we are posting is not published by our teams.  Other documents must be published with special headers, based on our business policies.  I will continue to explore.
