Set Up and Manage Shield Platform Encryption Challenge

Getting error message by email when trying to ancypt fields:

Account.Phone:
Platform Encryption cannot be enabled for standard fields when Portals are enabled.

However I only have one customer portal and the Login Enabled box is NOT checked. I searched for hours to try and figure out what else I could do to no avail. Any help is highly appreciated.

I would suggest you do this challenge in new DE org due to pre existing configurations.Below is the pdf for Set Up and Manage Shield Platform Encryption.
