ScanPST.exe fails to recover contacts in Outlook 2016

I read somewhere that ScanPST.exe is a free tool and use it to fix any problem in Outlook database file. I agree that it is a freeware but unable to recover a single contact.

Any suggestion?

If scanpst.exe is not able to Recover corrupt PST file, then you can re scan it or try to reduce its size as oversize pst may also make it corrupt. If that doesn't work out then you can use Stellar Phoenix PST repair tool. You can even compare other Outlook PST softwares and choose as per your requirement.

Yes, scanpst.exe is free utility provided by Microsoft, but some time scanpst.exe not working properly or not recover data of PST file in such situation you have to use an automated tool.
