Hi Pratyusha,
My advice is to don't depend any support persons for your live projects. I dont think so that will help you for your regular works . Practice scenario based examples as much as possible and refer salesforce blogs for real time problems and understand how they resolved those issues. Go through the tail heads and update your knowledge as much as possible.
If you are facing any development issues post your questions / Comments in developer /Success community you will get possible solutions .
