I want to update a field on Case through process builder when a case record is created via Email-to-case. But the process builder is not getting fired. What must be going wrong? Do I have to create a process builder on the EmailMessage object?

Hello Nigel,

Please recheck if you have activated the process builder or not.

Also, check the criteria you need to check if the case is being created by Email or not which is Case Origin Equals Email. OR you can paste a snapshot of your process builder here.
