How to run data loader in batch mode?

Can anybody tell me how to run dataloader in batch mode.

2 Encrypt from the Command Line.
3 Upgrade Your Batch Mode Interface.
4 Data Loader Command-Line Interface.
5 Configure Batch Processes.
6 Data Loader Process Configuration Parameters.
7 Data Loader Command-Line Operations.
8 Configure Database Access.
