1. There are tons of differences between the 2 Territory features, but if you are going to Lightning, then you have to choose the original territory management that is supported on Lightning. You can find the difference in below link

In order to enable Enterprise Territory Management,
In territory management, to enable Set Up -> Manage Territories -> Settings
Click on the Enable enterprise Territory Management.
Then you can create the territory Types and Territory model. Below link will help you how to enable it.

2. Before Forecasting is implemented in Salesforce, administrators, business sponsors, and end users should review the key functional differences between Collaborative and Customizable Forecasting.

Enterprise Territory Management (Territory Management 2.0) and Collaborative Forecasts can both be enabled and used at the same time in your Salesforce organization, but the two features are not currently integrated to work together. You cannot use Collaborative with Territory Management 1.0.
Before Salesforce Support can activate Territory Management on your organization, please review if your organization has Customizable orCollaborative Forecasting. Take note that organizations created after the Winter '12 release will have Collaborative Forecasting enabled. If your organization was created before Winter '12, most likely Customizable Forecasting is enabled.
Customizable Forecasting is the "old" version
Collaborative Forecasting is the "new" version if the org was created after Winter '12.
If Forecasting is enabled, but unsure what type is being used, this can be verified on this Click Path: Setup > App Setup > Customize > Forecasts:
If it displays "Forecasts (Customizable)", then Customizable Forecasting enabled.
If it displays "Forecasts", then Collaborative Forecasting is enabled.

i am confoused what i am using because i am new and i have like Original Territy management and enterpries territory Management and customizable Forcast and collaborative Forecost. what i used pealse suggest me and why used ??

If you are using developer Edition is created after winter '12, you will be accessing the enterprise territory management and collaborative Forecast. But the problem is Enterprise Territory Management (Territory Management 2.0) and Collaborative Forecasts can both be enabled and used at the same time in your Salesforce organization, but the two features are not currently integrated to work together. So if you want to use both together, then you have to use original Territory Management and customizable Forecast. Customizable and Collaborative are different versions of Forecasting and the older version is Customizable. If you want to use the Customizable version, If you wish to continue with the Territory Management activation, then we will have to deactivate Collaborative Forecasting. For that Please log a case in Help & Training and provide the following 9 answers below:
1. What is the Organization ID of the Salesforce org needing this feature? (navigate to setup > company profile > company information and look for Organization ID):
2. What is the best phone number to reach you as we will need to call you to verify additional information?:
3. Do you understand that you will no longer be able to use the Collaborative Forecasting feature in your Salesforce org?:
4. Do you understand that Forecast Adjustments from the Collaborative Forecasting feature will be purged and that you will plan your cutover accordingly?:
5. Do you understand that Forecast History will be purged and that you will plan your cutover accordingly?:
6. Do you understand that Quotas will be purged? You understand that you can export Forecasting Quota data prior to cutover:
7. Do you understand that the Forecast Hierarchy will be preserved as it was prior to cutover?:
8. Do you understand that once Territory Management is activated, it can't be deactivated without the loss of forecasting data and that you will have to rely on Customizable Forecasting instead of Collaborative Forecasting? (Hence why we encourage testing this first in a Trial / DEV org or a Sandbox) :
9. Are you the Salesforce System Administrator authorized on behalf of this organization to request this feature and that you understand the consequences documented below?:
