How can I activate the Branch Org feature?

I'm inventing some time looking for the best solution to implement continuos integration with managed packages. I saw some post and videos from Dreamforce with a feature called "Branch Orgs" that was on pilot. I would like to know if there's a way to use this feature, do I need to open a case? anybody knows?

Hi Edgar,

Branch orgs? Do you mean scratch orgs? I think its part of Salesforce DX which is still in pilot phase. You should contact salesforce if your company wants to be a part of pilot program. Thanks.

Hi @Ravi Dutt Sharma I saw this video from one of the Dreamforce conference (https://www.salesforce.com/video/194258/). I just opened a case related to this in Salesforce and waiting for some response, for now we have access to the DX pilot so now I will play with the scratch orgs. I will post what Salesforce says about. Best

The branch org pilot has been cancelled in favor of Salesforce DX, and so you are on the right path.

If you would like to get started today, there are some resources on this page that might help.

Salesforce is positioning DX so that it works with the continuous integration solutions we already have in place, so there is little to lose by moving forward now with an approach you can use in production.
