HELP: Need workflow (update field) for specified product in specified price book

I have approx. a dozen products that are within a specific pricebook. When that product(s) is selected for the opportunity quote I need the desscription to auto-update to include a notation prior that will be reflected on the quote PDF. Any help would be great, thank you in advance!

This functionality can be achieved by using the workflow Rule.

But  First could you please confirm that in Quote Description field what should be populated with some hard coded value or any field value from the product?

The quote description field should be populated with an updated version of the original product description. Example below

Original Product Description:
Additional flashlight.

Updated Product Descripton:
*NON-SCHEDULED ITEM*
Additional flashlight.

But it HAS to be specific to the product and the price book that product is in (dependencies could be price book name, and product code or product ID)
