Is it possible to encrypt standard lead fields with shield?

I am trying to confirm based on this document: https://resources.docs.salesforce.com/202/latest/en-us/sfdc/pdf/salesforce_platform_encryption_implementation_guide.pdf on page 9, there is no way to encrypt the lead standard fields. Is this correct?

Hi Vaughan,

Yes, you are right.

Most Organizations and their security departments are encouraging to leverage Salesforce shield so that the organization data is encrypted at REST.

Commonly, Organizations are seeking to encrypt several standard fields such as Name, Email, Phone and other personal information under LEAD, ACCOUNT, CONTACT, CAMPAIGN, etc.

May I suggest you please upvote the below idea on success community which should help you further. Hope this helps.

Mark this as solved if it's resolved.

Thanks,
Nagendra
