I would like to create a timesheet for employees to calculate hourly basis work. for that i have created a timesheet object and some fields. i used visualforce to display that page. Now i don't know to proceed further.

Hi Iswarya,

Your users would need to create, at least, daily log in records. You need to do a little forward thinking in terms of what is an expected number of log in and log outs for the day. If a user usually logs in in the morning, out for lunch, then back in and then out at the end of the day you could get by with 4 log fields, maybe 6 to accommodate someone-off situations. The tricky part will be calculating all that time but it's certainly possible. The following link has some good info about date/time fields and the calculations between them.
