Trailhead Chatter Basics for Users Create Posts, Polls, and Questions -

I am trying to create a poll to complete this challenge. But, the Ask tab is read-only. It is not allowed me to post the Poll on Chatter. 

How can I resolve this issue?

I have the same issue! The Ask tab is read only, so even though I have copied the question and the poll choices, I cannot actually post the poll, since the Ask button is not working. Can you help? Please note that the link you provided is for a different problem, not this one.

Hi All,
adding periods at the end of the answers and than removing them worked for me and made ASK button active :-)

This solution helped me to publish the poll, but now I get this error:
Challenge not yet complete... here's what's wrong:
Could not find a poll with the specified options. Ensure you copy and paste the option text carefully.
What can I do to fix this?

The Solution does work Sarah, you have to remember to remove the period before ask/saving the poll. Also you only need to add the period to one of your option and then remove it once ask is active.
