I have a scenario where i need to match existing records with new ones, if one new field matches existing record vale then the matching score is 6% like wise there are 8 fields to match could u plz help me in this regard using triggers

what are the relationships?
It looks like these can be done with standard point and click with formulas...

Object is custom object(End Customer), Fields used for matching are: (End_Customer_name, Address1, City, State, Country, Zipcode, Domain, Industry) these fields are used for matching old records. matching score for each of these fields is 6% if it matches with old record , if the match score  is more than or equal to 36 % then update status as Pending for Validation.
