Hello Michelle,

Are you using your developer org or the DE org created with your trailhead account? Has it always happened or started now? Have you tried to clean your browser cache or trying a different browser?

Hope to have helped!

Regards.

Don't forget to mark your thread as 'SOLVED' with the answer that best helps you.

This is something that just started in the past week, I had previously been using the trailhead sandboxes for the challenges without issue.  i have two trailhead DE's for the modules.  Both present the same error when attempting to check a challenge.

Im having the same problem as well. Mine happens at the Security Specialist Superebadge. Would like to understand more about this as I've done the requirements but keep on getting this error message upon checking results:

"There was an unhandled exception. Please reference ID: DWQYJDGK. Error: Restforce::UnauthorizedError. Message: INVALID_SESSION_ID: Session expired or invalid"

Hope somebody could guide me. Thanks

Hey, incase you have recently created and deployed a new domain, it would have changed your username with which you were logged into your playground.

This could a reason why it is not able to fetch your changes, try connecting a new org with the latest username and verify your changes in that playground. Let me know if it works!

Hi, Even i am getting this below error when tried to verify the steps  "
There was an unhandled exception. Please reference ID: MLLIFPHA. Error: Restforce::UnauthorizedError. Message: INVALID_SESSION_ID: Session expired or invalid"

From the error message looks more of login session doesnt matches b/w trialhead and developer sales force session. Tried of clearing the browser cache , re-logging again to trialhead via sales force but still the same error.

Hi, I tried disconnecting the playground from Hands-on-org and connected back, it worked.

Hi, I've found this issue too and I've been able to solve it,
If you just changed the Mydomain name, Triailhead does not recognized the changes when verifying the assessment, (probably becase was open in a different page at the same time?).
To solve the error had to go back to Mydomain and deployed the previous domain was given as default, curious bear, cute goat etc.

I also faced same issue. It is resolved by disconnecting the org and connecting again from trailhead account.

SOLUTION (it worked for me)

TL;DR: Make a fresh connection of problematic Org and your Trailhead account
  1. Launch your Org
  2. Configure credentials with "Get Your Logins Credentials" tab in the "Playground Starter" app
  3. Go to the "Hands-on" Orgs page in your Trailhead account (link in dropdown available when you click on your name/avatar)
  4. Click "Connect Org" button
  5. Login to Org with your credentials from step 1
  6. Check if you can launch Org from new connection - if it works (you don't want to lose your data and code), you can remove the old connection
After that, select the new Org connection in a Superbadge page. The "Check Challenge" button should work properly.

Thanks @Jakub Burkiewicz 20

Also, if you had changed the Domain Name of the Org, Make sure to reconnect the org using "Connect Org" to your "Hands-on" orgs.

All I did was connect the ORG in Hands-On Orgs... I logged in with the same account that I use in the playground that marked an error and EUREKA! It worked and didn't show the error.
