Matt Smith 49 Actions that Update "Last Activity" Field on Contact Object?
Hello everyone,
My first post on here... I'm wondering if someone can provide me an exhaustive list of actions within Salesforce that trigger the standard "Last Activity" date field on the Contact object to update. I know field updates is one, I believe ownership change is another, but I need an all-encompassing list. Thanks in advance!

Value is one of the following, whichever is the most recent:
Due date of the most recent event logged against the record.
Due date of the most recently closed task associated with the record.
So, when you create an event or close a task on the Contact record, this field will be populated. Now, you can use workflows, process builders, triggers, Flows, Manual to do that.
