Does Lightning for Outlook work on mobile devices?

I am considering implementing Lightning for Outlook for a few clients so they can use the Salesforce Console within Outlook. Is it ready to use on mobile devices yet? iPhone?

Not that I am aware of. Howver, I did come across this documentation.  https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=customize_sf1_connected_app_attributes.htm&language=en_US

It seems like you  can change the default email app that Salesforce1 uses. I have tried forcing the Outlook app to be my default with no success.
