no selection checkbox in enhanced list for community users

Hi,
we use the component 'apex:enhandedlist', which shows a selection checkbox on each line in the VisualForce page. However, community users do not see that checkbox. I have granted the community users all relevant permissions, but still no luck.
Any suggestions?

Hi Marcob,

Please make sure under Setup->Customize->User Interface  you have enabled Enable Inline Editing.Disabling this won't work for Enhanced list.

Hi Sandhya,
that option is already enabled. The checkboxes are visible for regular user, but they do not appear for community users.
Any other suggestions?
