Priya Bandi How to open a custom VF tab in a new tab when clicked
Hello All,
I have created a VF tab and attached a VF page to this custom VF tab. The VF page has Account as the Standard Controller. So now, as shown in the below attached screenshot, when the user clicks on the MyRelationships VF tab, the VF page should open in a new tab and it should not affect the current tab, I mean the current tab should remain in the same contacts tab. Is this feasible? If so, please let me know.

Your link should be directly to the VF page. From Setup go to Contacts > Buttons Links and Actions.
Click the New Button or Link button and provide the details.
Then place the button or link on the Contact page layout.
Thank You for your response. But I am asking you about the MyRelationships custom VF tab. When a user clicks on this MyRelationships tab, it should be opened in a new tab, instead of overriding the existing opened tab, which is contacts tab here.
