I was tasked with trying to export our Attachments
I need steps to do the following please.
"The best way to get the actual attachment data out of Salesforce is to query the Attachment object for the Attachment Ids and then use the retrieve() api call to get the Body data. I have done this before for integrations and it is very fast."

You can export attachments using the Apex Data loader tool.
Thank you for quick answer. Can you let me know the steps to export attachments from a particular object say " Quotes " . I am curious to know will it give me the real attachments or some links ? Please suggest .
